A QUICK NOTE FROM THE HERBALIST:

First and foremost, you need to know that I'm not a medical doctor, and I in no way mean to imply that my products (or herbalism in general) can replace the care of medical doctors.  Doctors are medical experts, herbalists just have an intimate knowledge of plants.  (Well, herbalists worth their salt do, anyway.  These days way too many so-called herbalists have no direct relationship with plants and no understanding of how they work apart from things they've read online.🙄 But I digress...)

Secondly, you need to understand that only FDA-approved pharmaceuticals are allowed to be labeled as medicine or to claim that they'll improve or alter your body's functions and/or alleviate your symptoms.  (Herbalists can be fined or jailed for making those claims regarding their own products!)  So let me be very clear when I say that the products I make are NOT medicine.  Think of them, instead, as highly specialized "foods" and "cosmetics" made with carefully selected plants which may or may not possess certain bioactive phytochemicals.😁 

Lastly, please understand that my product descriptions are in no way intended to be construed as claims about what each product might do for you or how/when/why you might want to use them.  Instead, the descriptions are simply meant to share how I have chosen to use them for myself.  (Afterall, I'm widely regarded as a wonderfully interesting woman, so I can only assume you'll be fascinated to learn more about me! 😇) 

AN IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: 

I won't be using plants that are proven to be potentially dangerous for the average person (at least, not in the ways I used them).  But anyone can be allergic to anything, a body can react unexpectedly to any phytochemical, and certain conditions (such as pregnancy) can potentially cause an otherwise benign herb to become unsafe.  I will do my due diligence in reporting any relevant contraindications for the products I list here, but please understand that I cannot guarantee that nothing has been overlooked.  If you are on any medications, or have any health conditions, you should of course check with your doctor before using these products.  If you're pregnant or nursing, your doctor will likely tell you to steer clear of anything herbal.  You might be surprised to hear me say this, as an herbalist, but because the stakes are so very high when it comes to precious babies, I'm going to have to agree with those doctors.  All of these products could be perfectly safe for an unborn and/or nursing baby, but that isn't a gamble I'd personally want to make.
