READ THIS BEFORE YOU SHOP

IMPORTANT DETAILS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU PLACE AN ORDER:

1.)  SOME OF OUR PRODUCTS CANNOT BE SHIPPED, SO PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

  • WE ARE NOT ABLE TO SHIP ANY ITEMS REQUIRING REFRIGERATION!  All meat and egg purchases must be picked up by you either at our farm or at the DHA Farmers Market in Dunwoody, GA.  
    • Our farm is located in Roanoke, AL (36274).  Our availability varies, but at least one of us is around on most days.
    • The DHA Farmers Market is located in Brook Run Park in Dunwoody, GA (4770 N Peachtree Rd, 30338) and it runs almost every Saturday from 9am-12pm.  You can find the yearly calendar on their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/dunwoodyfarmersmarket/   
  • If you order a perishable item and accidentally select to have it shipped, we'll contact you with the option to pick it up instead.  If that isn't possible for you, we'll issue a refund minus the fee we paid to process your initial payment.  (Shopify charges us that processing fee even if we refund the order.  As a farm on a shoestring budget, we just can't afford that financial hit.)   

2.)  IF YOU WANT TO PICK-UP AT OUR FARM:

  • Under the "Delivery" heading at checkout, select "Pickup in store".  You'll be sent an email with further instructions once we confirm we have it ready.
  • Please include a cell phone number so we can reach out to you if needed.  And if you need to reach out to us, Danny's cell is 404) 219-3650.
  • NOTE:  Always confirm with us before showing up here!  We have very large Livestock Guardian Dogs who love to welcome good-hearted strangers when we're home, but they can be wary and protective when we aren't around.

3.)  IF YOU WANT TO PICKUP AT THE DHA FARMERS MARKET:

  • Orders must be placed no later than 6pm on Friday each week for that Saturday's market. 
  • Under the "Delivery" heading at checkout, select "Ship".  Further down, you'll see that picking up at the DHA Farmer's Market (no additional charge) is already the default shipping method, so you won't have to change anything there.
  • Please include a cell phone number so we can reach out to you if the market is cancelled due to inclement weather, or if you accidentally order for one of the few days the market is scheduled to be closed!  And if you need to reach out to us, contact Danny at 404) 219-3650.
  • If you haven't picked your order up by the time the market closes at 12pm, Danny will attempt to reach out to you with the phone number you've provided.  If you can make it over there quickly enough, you'll still be able to pick up your order that day.  
  • If you don't end up picking up your order, you can choose to have us save the items until the next week.  Otherwise, we can only issue a refund for any frozen and/or nonperishable items, and that refund will be minus the amount of Shopify's processing fee (see #1)The cost of any eggs will not be refunded unless you reach out to us and request a refund BEFORE the Farmers Market has ended, so we have a chance to sell them to someone else.  (This is because we won't be able to sell them to anyone the following week, either.)  

4.)  FOR ITEMS THAT CAN BE SHIPPED:

  • Under the "Delivery" heading at checkout, select "Ship".  Further down, under "Shipping Method", select your preferred USPS shipping method.  BE SURE TO DO THIS STEP!!  If you don't, it'll remain on the default option of you picking the order up at the farmers market!
  • NOTE:  We only have USPS shipping options listed because they're willing to pick the boxes up when they come here each day, whereas the other companies require us make a 20 min (or longer) trip to a drop-off location.  If for some reason you need your item delivered by UPS or FEDEX, instead, please call or text Danny at 404) 219-3650 so we can figure something out.
