Rump Roasts are a lean cut, so they can be on the tough side if not cooked low and slow---but they also have wonderfully deep beef flavor! Rumps are the ideal cut for a pot roast, whether oven roasted, braised, or done in a slow cooker. They also do well in the smoker!
