Kudzu is constantly trying to overthrow our farm, so we decided to find a way to make it earn its keep! If you're familiar with the clusters of orchid-like flowers that appear on kudzu vines in late spring and summer, you might recall that they have a unique scent which can only be described as "grape Koolaid"! Those flowers actually make a delicious tea, especially when paired with Wild Passionflower blossoms! Because I was so busy this year, instead of using fresh Kudzu blossoms I had to dehydrate the flowers to use when I finally had a bit of time (now). As a result, the “grape jelly-like” flavor of my previous batches is sadly absent this time. HOWEVER, I think you’ll enjoy this version just as much! It has a subtle but distinct lemony sweetness that I personally adore!
INGREDIENTS: Wild Kudzu Blossom Tea (Blossoms, Water); Passionflower Tea (Blossoms, Water); Sugar, Pectin, Crystallized Lemon Juice, Sea Salt; Butter; Citric Acid
NOTE: We only make small batches each time, and the recipes often evolve between those batches. So even if you only have minor food allergies, please ALWAYS check the label to make sure we haven't added something different the next time you buy this flavor!
IF YOU HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES: Our products are handmade in our farm kitchen, which has not been inspected by the USDA. Other food items with potentially allergenic ingredients are also prepared in this kitchen.
