HERBAL TEA: REVELATION ROSE
TWO PURCHASE OPTIONS: Full order of 10 tea bags, or as individual single tea bags.
For as long as I’ve been making my own teas, I’ve wanted to make a Rose tea. But I had the worst luck with finding Roses with a suitably strong flavor. Or so I thought! Recently I was passing one of my “disappointing” Rose bushes when a heavenly scent wafted my way for the first time in our 3.5 years here. I hurried inside for a bag and harvest every bloom, then waited impatiently for them to dry. Sure enough, the tea I made with them was rich with rosy goodness!! Since that day I’ve discovered that the blossoms aren’t always heavily scented...but if they aren’t, I need only check back the next day! I’m not sure how I never once caught them when they were scented in the past, but it’s game on, now! I spent several days playing with other ingredients to make a Rose-based blend that I could be proud to offer to you guys. I harvested a bunch of our tiny Wild Prairie Roses to add in, and then gathered Wild Muscadine leaves to use, because they’re so incredibly good for you and I wanted a non-floral flavor in the mix. Then I HAD to include my beloved Roselle, because teas that “zing” make my heart happy!
INGREDIENTS: Organically Grown Roses, Wild Prairie Roses, Organically Grown Lemongrass, Organically Grown Roselle Hibiscus, Wild Muscadine Leaves
