Dried Wild Trumpet Mushrooms from our woods!  Each order will contain at least 0.30oz of these shredded, washed, and dried treasures.  (That’s equivalent to a full cup of shredded fresh mushrooms, or about two cups of whole fresh mushrooms.)  Trumpet Mushrooms are a delicious variety of Chanterelles.  More delicate than their orange sisters, Trumpets don’t store well when fresh but ALSO don’t have any texture issues after being dried.  They have a lovely understated flavor that will pair well with just about anything.  The hardest part of enjoying these mushrooms is cleaning them, since their hollow trumpet-like shape loves to grab on to piece of grit.  Luckily for you guys, I’ve already done the hard part (which is why they’re shredded instead of being dried whole)!!
