Organically grown, unwashed, Akoko Mesa Basil! 
This hard-to-find heirloom Basil hails from Ghana, West Africa where it’s considered a necessary staple in most every home.  The slightly stronger flavor of its leaves is a key element to their poultry dishes, which is how this basil got it’s name:  “Chicken Dance”.

While not officially certified organic, this Basil has been grown using organic and naturally, sustainably grown standards.  Rest assured that this will be a safe and wholesome addition to your family's diet!
